Abstract

Once it is properly understood as a rigorous process, there are good reasons to believe that RAD (Rapid Application Development) is a positive boon to producing high quality, well engineered software systems that accurately meet users' requirements. The question is not whether RAD and quality fit comfortably together, but how. The paper considers RAD and quality fundamentals, the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) and software quality standards. (5 pages)
