Drawing on demography and group competition research we hypothesize different effects of work unit racial composition on the turnover of Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, and Whites. We find non-symmetrical effects of compositional variables for majority and minority groups as well as significant race effects for Asians and Hispanics.
