Abstract

Believing that the one-teacher school must continue for some years to be the backbone of rural education, the writer urges that the advantages of this type of school be recognized and developed to the utmost. Consolidation in many sections has been halted by the lack of funds. “Why not utilize the tool at hand?” Mr. Guhin asks.
