Abstract

We analyze leptogenesis in the background of a quintessential kination scenario1 in which the wash-out parameter K, defined as the ratio between the right handed neutrino (RHN) decay rate and the Hubble parameter, can be as low as K ≃ 10−7 even with the effective neutrino mass [Formula: see text]. Successful leptogenesis places a limit on the temperature Tr below which kination stops to dominate and radiation takes over; [Formula: see text] where M is the RHN mass.
