Abstract

The H3PW12O40, 4-methylquinoline and DMSO formed a novel polyoxometalate-based photocatalyst with one-dimensional chain structure. Moreover, the synthesized photocatalyst possessed high stability and reusability for visible-light-mediated Minisci reaction. Mechanism investigation revealed that a W(VI)-W(V) catalytic cycle was involved for C−H functionalization.
