Abstract
For the physician, a radioelement is characterized by its period and the kind of rays item its. What matters in most experiments is to know the quantity of a radioelement expressed in number of disintegration per second ’ rather than in weight. Generally; one expresses this quantity taking for unit the ‘curie ’, which is the number of disintegrations per second of a gram of radium , and which has been carefully measured.
