Abstract

On 1 July 2011 Moynan King brought together fourteen queer artists to discuss their work and their goals. The symposium initiated a conversation about methods of production for queer creators, the necessity for initiating a discourse on queer women’s performance, and the lexical gap in the terminology for “queer” performers. This article is a transcript of that discussion, edited and with an introduction by Laine Newman.
