Abstract
Maurice Carrez : What does the life of Jesus mean to St-Paul ? In 2 Co.4.10 f. the twofold use of the term «life of Jesus » stands out among 6 of Paul's 13 mentions of Jesus. Is this usage identical with the «agony of Jesus» and «dead because of Jesus», or does each have its own value ? It is to be linked to Paul's situation as an apostle in which the personal, existential factors, as well as the emphasis on the earthly and global side of Jesus' present action, appear in his teaching in order to prevent Christ being placed outside history.
