Abstract

Dielectric and (or) magnetic coating is used as isolation for wire antennas, as well as to modify their scattering or radiative properties. Conductors with similar coating can be used as analogs of printed circuits and microstrip systems, can be the basis for composite material creation. One of the methods for analyzing the structures in the form of thing conductors is to use integral or integral-differential equations for phase-amplitude current distribution. The knowledge of the current distribution allows calculating required electrodynamic properties of investigated structures. An integral equation in frequency domain for current distribution in a thin cylindrical conductor covered with a layer of magnetodielectric is presented in the paper.
