Abstract
The kinetic parameters of the plasma of a CuBr vapor laser with a molecular hydrogen additive are determined by time measurements of the plasma transmittance at probing frequencies close to the plasma frequency. The measurements were performed across the discharge at frequencies of 94 and 142 GHz within the time interval 2–85 μs. The measurement results are used to calculate the time dependences of the electron density, electron temperature, and electron momentum relaxation time.
