Abstract

The article considers the principles for determining the gear ratios of controlled inter-axle and inter-wheel power distribution mechanisms. The methodology is based on the analysis of the distribution of normal, tangential and lateral reactions during the movement of a car under the action of a given external force. The calculated dependences are given, which allow to evaluate the values of the reactions and to estimate the required gear ratios of the power distribution mechanisms. An example of a kinematic scheme of a controlled center differential is given. Prospects for using the mechanisms of this family are formulated. The structure of the control system for such mechanisms is considered.
