Abstract

A modified lumped parameter method is discussed which is judged to be especially suitable for microwave measurements of dielectric dispersion in high dielectric materials in a particular frequency region. The method combines some of the features of the lumped parameter method and the distributed parameter method. Dielectric dispersions for PbZr/sub 1-x/Ti/sub x/O/sub 3/, BaTiO/sub 3/, and Ba/sub x/Sr/sub 1-x/TiO/sub 3/ ceramics in the frequency domain from 1 MHz to 1 GHz are presented. The principle of the measurement and the accuracy of the experimental data which are retrieved are also discussed. >
