Abstract

In the early inflation period, due to the highest accessible energy, the quantum effects of gravity are essentially considerable and the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) can be examined. In this paper, we first calculate the slow-roll parameter of the power-law inflation according to physical and co-moving momentum. Then, considering the two proposed algebras for the GUP, we show that considering a minimum length for corrections cannot satisfy the slow-roll condition and inflation, in this case, will not terminate gracefully. By simultaneously considering both minimum length and maximum momentum, inflation will terminate gracefully but it can never start from a pure de Sitter state and will necessarily start from a quasi-de Sitter state.
