Abstract
The stationary state wave function for a one-dimensional system of hard sphere particles in a box is known to be a determinantal combination of single particle wave functions. The time-dependent wave function corresponding to a certain class of initially prepared states is shown to be a determinantal combination of single particle time-dependent wave functions. The motion of the center of gravity of such a system of particles is especially simple.
