Abstract
A review is given of recent theoretical studies in transport properties of quantum wires in magnetic fields. The topics cover the localization of edge states, its crossover from one to two dimensions, effects of boundary roughness scatterings on the Hall effect and the magnetoresistance, and the ballistic conduction at quantum point contacts.
