Abstract
A theory for the longitudinal Josephson plasma in 1D series of Josephson junctions is formulated in the presence of a bias current. The plasma level lowers as the bias current increases. The critical current shows significant deviation from the Ambegaokar-Baratoff result when the plasma-plasma scattering is strong.
