Abstract

An exact solution of the Schrödinger equation for a hydrogen-like atom near a hard wall given by us previously [Kovalenko et al., Phys. Status Solidi (B) 155, 549 (1989)] is used for an investigation of the discrete electronic spectrum, the atom dipole moment and oscillator strengths dependent on the distance from the wall. A hydrogen-like molecular near a hard wall is considered in the framework of the Heitler—London method.
