Abstract

The problem of electron injection in Josephson junctions is considered theoretically. The effect of quantum oscillations of the chemical potential in a nonequilibrium Josephson junction is predicted. The oscillation spectrum is presented by a single Josephson mode if the transparency of the oxide barrier is not too high.
