Abstract

Using Quantum Monte Carlo algorithm, we study the quantum behaviors of the hardcore bosons with finite-range interactions in one-dimensional optical lattices, such finite-range interactions were realized in Rydberg-dressed alkali atoms loaded into optical lattices. With the choice of the hardcore boson density ρ=0.75 and finite-interaction range rc=4, the ground-state of the system is expected to be degenerate due to the cluster formation. With the increase of interaction strength V/t, we find the system switches from the superfluid phase to supersolid phase and finally to CDW phase. The finite temperature effect and the finite size effect are also carefully examined.
