Abstract
A quantum symmetric pair consists of a quantum group U and its coideal subalgebra Uςı (called an ıquantum group) with parameters ς. In this note, we use the derived Hall algebras of 1-periodic complexes to realize the ıquantum groups Uςı of split type.
