Abstract

The wave function of the universe is obtained in the form of the functional integral over lorentzian four-geometries from the path-integral quantization of the true dynamical degrees of freedom. The algorithms for quantum averages and probability amplitudes in the Wheeler-DeWitt quantum geometrodynamics are derived and the initial value problem for the wave function in superspace of three-metrics is formulated.
