Abstract
The influence of quantum fluctuations on the transition temperature of an Ising spin glass with transverse field is studied. The results are compared with the so-called static approximation used widely in the literature. It is shown that quantum fluctuations have a significant effect on the field dependent transition temperature although the qualitative behavior is similar to results obtained within the static approximation.
