Abstract

A quantum encryption protocol based on Gaussian-modulatedcontinuous variable EPR correlations is proposed. The security isguaranteed by continuous variable EPR entanglement correlationsproduced by nondegenerate optical parametric amplifier (NOPA). Forgeneral beam splitter eavesdropping strategy, the mutualinformation I(α,ϵ) between Alice and Eve iscalculated by employing Shannon information theory. Finally thesecurity analysis is presented.
