Abstract

Ti3C2 MXene quantum dots (MQDs) are immunomodulatory and can be loaded into an injectable chitosan (CS)-based hydrogel for tissue engineering applications. In article number 1900569, Sanjiv Dhingra and co-workers show that injection of a CS-MQD hydrogel to an infarct site after coronary artery occlusion may reduce recruitment of immune cells and limit secondary injury to the heart.
