Abstract

We evaluate the geometric measure of entanglement for a superposition of multipartite pure GHZ coherent states. The study is done to show the entanglement behavior for different dimensions of multipartite states using continuous variables. Also, the quantum correlations change in the mixture case is studied, by proposing a model of quantum discord calculation for multipartite mixed GHZ coherent states which will be compared with the entanglement in a particular example of tripartite system. We note that our choice of isotropic mixed family states gives as a major advantage of controlling the correlations by the mixing parameter control.
