Abstract

A theory of electron density beats in a bicomplex of electron traps with strong electron-phonon interaction was constructed. Analytic equations for the influence of temperature on the frequency of exchange of heavy quasi-particles were obtained. Experiments in which intense current beats were observed when a scanning tunnel microscope was used to probe the surface of hydroxylated titanium and aluminum oxides were explained.
