Abstract
A semiclassical quantization of the stochastic pump model of Arnold diffusion is presented. The semiclassical model is found to be equivalent to a one-dimensional disordered wire, yielding localized states limiting the extent of diffusion. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
