Abstract
The quantization of elementary particles was attributed to the dynamics described by the internal space-time variables and their corresponding 4-momenta. A mass operator was defined, which met all of the requirements of the principle of reciprocity and relativistic covariance. The center-of-mass kinematics were given in the Klein-Gordon form. The mass eigenvalue equation was solved, and led to a quantized mass formula. The development of the theory revealed some basic properties of a bilocal field associated with elementary particles.
