Abstract

A detailed picture of the phospholipid composition of normal human erythrocytes and plasma was obtained by quantitative two-dimensional thin-layer chromatography on silica gel containing an alkaline component. Two extraction procedures for erythrocytes were tested and the techniques and results were compared with those of other recent investigations.
