The chapter provides knowledge on the quantitative methods used in the environmental risk assessment process. IT tools are also introduced, particularly software-supporting environmental risk analysis, databases, data engineering and big data. In sum, quantitative analysis, in the context of sustainable financial decisions, is used to search relationships between environmental factors incorporated by financial institutions and business models’ performance, selecting the factors with significant impact and finding the impact of type of financial institutions (bank/market oriented) on the companies and the impact of the type of risk (environmental, social, governance) on companies’ performance (environmental, social, governance, financial).
