Abstract
The influence of the generation time on the sensitivity in intracavity absorption spectroscopy is investigated. The modulation technique for quantitative measurements of small absorption coefficients using a cw dye laser is suggested. The measured values of a number of absorption coefficients of air are in range 10 -6-10 -7 cm -1
