Abstract

A method for determining methapyrilene fumarate, ephedrine hydrochloride, and codeine phosphate simultaneously by gas chromatography is described. Temperature programming plus the use of an internal standard provide a simple and rapid method for separating and determining the three components in a syrup. Precision and accuracy studies are included. A method for determining methapyrilene fumarate, ephedrine hydrochloride, and codeine phosphate simultaneously by gas chromatography is described.
