Abstract
The amounts of enzymes, urease and glucose oxidase (GOD), adsorbed to stearylamine and cetylamine monolayers at the air-water interface were measured. We made a urea sensor using an ion sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET) as a transducer on which urease was immobilized by the LB technique. It is shown that the characteristics of the urea sensor can be improved by using the LB technique.
