Abstract

Poly(ethylene) (PE)/poly(propylene) (PP) post-consumer blends were analyzed by novel 1H and 13C “high temperature liquid state” NMR spectroscopy. Quantitative data about the PE/PP ratio and a qualitative identification of brominated flame-retardant compounds were obtained.
