Abstract

Prolonged or repetitive general anesthesia (GA) during childhood has been associated with neurocognitive deficits, though these findings remain controversial. Proper diagnosis and treatment of retinoblastoma (Rb) requires significant GA exposure. This is the first study to estimate the number and duration of GA exposures in the Rb patient population.
