Abstract

Purpose: The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) recommends a combination of non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment modalities for symptoms of hand osteoarthritis (OA) in order to achieve optimal symptom relief. However, there is no available data indicating to what extent these modalities are implemented in routine clinical practice. Therefore, we aimed to assess the usage and determinants of treatment modalities aimed at relieving joint complaints for patients with hand OA in daily clinical practice.
