Abstract
Ultrasonography is sensitive to detect changes in the texture of tissues. It is difficult to detect mild diffuse liver disease and follow-up patients with chronic liver diseases. The objective was to evaluate the development of liver fibrosis in an experimental model, by use of a method to quantify the homogeneity of the tissue texture.
