Abstract

This article seeks to explore the singularity of contemporary dance creation for young audiences, postulating that this address transforms choreographic approaches, increasing attention to the accessibility of works without compromising on artistic quality demands. We will then study the nature of the address for young audiences in contemporary dance through an interview with the choreographer Caroline Cornelis (compagnie Nyash, Belgium) and an analysis of three contemporary pieces from French-speaking Belgium.
