Abstract

During the leadership of the Vietnamese revolution, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to pedagogical and the development of education in the country. He is always interested in the education of the young generation in general, especially teaching and learning. President Ho Chi Minh twice visited Hanoi National University of Education - the nation's leading educational university in teacher training. Here, the President had talks with school officials and teachers, thereby expressing liberal views on education, especially teaching and learning. At present, those views have shown their high application value in the fundamental and comprehensive reform of education. The article analyzes and summarizes the educational perspectives of President Ho Chi Minh in general and through the talk at Hanoi National University of Education (1964) in detail, thereby pointing out the pioneer values of the educational perspectives of President Ho Chi Minh, leading innovation of those views when applied in teaching and learning today.
