Quality provision in science in an environment with limited commercial resources

Abstract

Against a background of a need to raise the quality of science education in developing countries, it is argued that the lack of availability, or inappropriateness, of commercial resources may be hindering efforts to improve provision. Research and development into the use of indigenous resources and indigenous science is called for.
