Abstract

Objective To analyze the quality of life and related factors in patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris before and after percutaneous coronary intervention. Methods A total of 1 608 patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention in Chifeng Hospital from January of 2015 to June of 2017 were selected. The clinical data were reviewed and analyzed, and the quality of life before and after intervention treatment was compared. The quality of life before and after treatment was taken as a dependent variable, and age, sex, vascular branches of coronary artery, smoking and blood lipid level were used as independent variables. The Logistic linear regression analysis was carried out on the risk factors affecting the quality of life before and after percutaneous coronary intervention. Results After treatment, the scores of quality of life in all dimensions were higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). Logistic linear regression analysis showed that the main risk factors affecting the quality of life before coronary intervention were sex, smoking and coronary artery disease, and the risk factors affecting the quality of life after coronary intervention for coronary heart disease were mainly of age and blood lipid level. Conclusion Percutaneous coronary intervention can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with angina pectoris, but the quality of life is also influenced by smoking and blood lipid levels. In order to ensure the curative effect, it is necessary to strengthen the management of the patients. Key words: Coronary heart disease; Angina pectoris; Percutaneous coronary intervention; Quality of life; Risk factor
