Abstract

This study attempts to address some critical issues in managing veterinary medical health care. First, some concepts of quality in veterinary medicine will be outlined to focus on some of the unique aspects and problems associated with this industry. Second, the management of this quality will be addressed to allow managers the ability to assess problems. Third, how these areas of study relate to client and patient requirements and how they may be used to improve quality management in veterinary medical health care facilities will be examined. Finally, a new approach and managerial implications will be provided.
