Abstract

The paper explores the issues of improving the quality of training in the field of energy-efficient construction. The analysis of the development of energy-efficient construction and the regulatory framework of the Russian Federation in this area was carried out. The analysis of the data on the job market in the construction industry, the results of employers’ survey, and the experience in the implementation of educational programs in Russian universities showed the need to improve the quality of training in the field of energy efficient construction of buildings. The findings from the employers’ questionnaires revealed their interest in further cooperation in the implementation of educational programs. The example of the Master’s program “Design, construction and operation of energy efficient buildings” shows the stages of creating an educational program from the perspective of a competence-based approach. The main approaches to the formulation of learning outcomes by combining the requirements of federal state educational standards, professional standards and the questionnaire findings are considered. The methodology for assessing the quality of the educational program in the field of energy efficient construction is proposed.
