Abstract

A multidisciplinary, multi-stakeholder, provincial ACS working group was established in 2013 to identify barriers and support the implementation of consistent, evidence-based treatment of patients in 12 Health Regions across the province. To achieve this, we utilized quality improvement initiatives (i.e. created an expert network of diverse stake holders, created a common NSTEACS order set, facilitated improved access to guideline-recommended therapies, provided knowledge translation sessions, and served as a resource to care providers).
