Walsh focuses initially on the specific example of how cross-border higher education is regulated by Ireland, both in imported and exported forms. He continues by looking at how international higher education operates between Ireland and its nearest neighbour, the United Kingdom. He highlights the importance of cooperation between the national quality assurance agencies in the two jurisdictions.
