Abstract
In this paper, the anther discusses a metabolic system of water through Sapporo city. Reuse of sewage treatment plant effluent by way of coagulation and sedementation in a natural lake and its ground water recharge by way of a canal is proposed. By the system, natural water bodies in and down stream of the city will turn into high level recreational water front regions and dual water supply system without additional transmission system to ensure stable water supply for the future will come out. By this kind of multiple purpose system, expenses of advanced wastewater treatment could be rationalized.
