Abstract

An 11 week pilot cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)/psychoeducation relapse prevention group was set up for bipolar clients. Thematic analysis of qualitative feedback showed a decrease in relapses and an improvement in psychological well-being. This demonstrates that such psychological interventions, alongside pharmacological treatments, can be effective in relapse prevention.
