Abstract

In this research some different kinds of tourist demand are analysed and the peculiarities are highlighted. It has become really important for the public and private operators to acquire specific market information in order to find technical and organizational solutions that could meet different requirements. With reference to the “Regione Marche” the attention is focused on analysing the creation of the local tourist system and the use of territorial franchising, as a possible “answer” to an integrated demand for tourism.
