Abstract
A new kind of three-mode coherent entangled state (CES) |β,γ,x⟩ is proposed, which possesses the properties of both a coherent state and an entangled state. |β,γ,x⟩ makes up a new quantum mechanical representation. Remarkably, quadrature-amplitude measurement for |β,γ,x⟩ leads to its collapse to the two-mode CES. A teleportation protocol of |β,γ,x⟩ is proposed by employing the Schmidt decompositions of both |β,γ,x⟩ and the bipartite entangled state |η⟩.
