Abstract

Necessary and sufficient conditions for stability of linear periodic systems with mixed discrete/distributed delays are obtained in the form of solvability of PDE on a square. Linear-quadratic and H-inf infinite horizon control problem with general quadratic cost function are solved for such retarded systems. The solution is expressed in terms of ODE on a square.
